Opening meeting: research interests and directions
Introductions across applied mathematics and computational science, followed by a discussion of shared interests and future seminar themes.
الشبكة السعودية للرياضيات التطبيقية والعلوم الحاسوبية
Connecting Saudi researchers in applied mathematics and computational science, in the Kingdom and abroad.
Our interests span mathematical modelling, analysis, optimization, probability, and computation, with applications across engineering and the sciences. We connect researchers across institutions through seminars, discussion, and collaboration.
Membership and participation →SAMCS is a network to connect Saudi faculty, postdoctoral researchers, and graduate students across applied mathematics and computational science. Researchers from engineering and other sciences who use mathematical and computational methods are welcome.
The network provides a forum for theoretical, methodological, and application-driven research. Its scientific programme will reflect the varied specializations of its members, with opportunities to share ongoing work and explore connections between fields.

Dates and speakers to be announced
The following topics are proposed for the first three sessions. Future meetings will rotate across the network’s research themes. Speakers and dates are not yet confirmed.
Introductions across applied mathematics and computational science, followed by a discussion of shared interests and future seminar themes.
An invited seminar on mathematical or computational approaches to a problem in science or engineering.
Short presentations from emerging researchers in different specialties, with time for questions and constructive feedback.
Proposed topics only. Meeting dates, speakers, and access details will be confirmed before registration opens. Times will be listed in Riyadh time.
The group has not launched yet. This section will hold past meeting summaries, references, and slides shared with speakers’ permission.
Subscribe to announcements or apply to become a member of SAMCS Network.
For seminar announcements and occasional network updates. Membership is not required.
Free membership for researchers and graduate students. Applications will be reviewed by the Founder and Chair.
The initial team will be invited after institutional approval to establish the network. Confirmed contributors will be listed with their consent.
Invited colleagues from different research specializations and institutions who contribute to establishing SAMCS, shape its initial scientific programme, and help develop connections across fields. Their founding contribution will be acknowledged on the website.
Volunteer contacts who circulate announcements through appropriate channels, suggest speakers, and connect interested researchers with the network. A Founding Member may also serve as a liaison.
Liaisons participate as individual researchers unless their institution authorizes formal representation. No appointments have been announced.
